The Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology (DOTT) is a career-focused 4-semester program offered by GHRDC, designed to train students in the critical skills required to support surgical procedures and manage operation theatres efficiently. This program prepares aspiring professionals to work alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses in the highly demanding environment of the operation theatre.
Eligibility:
Minimum qualification: 10+2 with Science (Biology group preferred)

Operation Theatre Technicians are vital members of the surgical team. They are trained to maintain sterile conditions, prepare surgical instruments, assist during operations, and ensure post-operative care and equipment sterilization. This hands-on program emphasizes both theoretical learning and real-time clinical exposure to prepare students for immediate employment in hospitals and surgical centers.
